i like the photo a lot, works well i feel except maybe the black park to the lower left of the people i think kissing just doesn't blend well with the blouds, but other than that it looks good
i should learn to look at the instructions, the image gives me an erie feeling with the dark clouds though with the black blob which appears in my mind to be a silhouette of people kissing counters that erie feeling leaving a balanced effect which can come of as awe with the dark clouds contrast to the sky behind it. Another feeling given off by the image to me by the rooster weather vain is that the photo is dealing with space and time, maybe you could explore that more.
thanks for the comment, and I agree with you. I'm hoping to make the silhouette blend in and look like a part of the cloud formation (hopefully!) I'm not to computer savvy, so it remains to be seen how it all actually turns out!
to be very blunt and honest, i like the picture quite a bit, especially what you did with the color of the sky and clouds and the seemingly random objects. i can tell that this picture is going to have a lot of meaning conveyed when it is completed. my only tip is with the figures that look like they are kissing, maybe try to make them look as though they are coming out from the clouds, but still in front of the sky. maybe try something with the layers? over all though i like it a lot, good job.
thanks for the feedback. my vision and the way it actually turns out may not match as much as I'm hoping for.. but it's nice to know so far people are seeing what I am trying to create
Looks great so far! I love the moody atmosphere and the overall colour. I'm assuming you'll be adding and/or moving some of the objects, but the ones you have so far compliment the background nicely. Has the background been inverted?
It looks like you're going for a cultural theme or world travel theme based on the totem pole and weathervane which is pretty interesting.
From a technical standpoint, the edges look relatively clean except for the dark figure near the middle. There's a little fragment of green left there, but I'm sure you'll have time to clean everything up eventually. And once you get a few more objects you'll have a nice composition.
I would suggest elongating the limbs on the side of the image outward to make them a little more noticeable. The cluster of limbs in the bottom left-hand corner would also make a great border if replicated over and over again around the edge.
Good luck - I'm interested to see where you go with this and how it turns out.
I love the idea about elongating the limbs... I think that would look really neat. I might attempt that. I agree that it would make a nice frame. thanks for the comments and ideas. much appreciated
I love this! It shows so much mystery that it's great to just look at. It seems as though you're trying to say that your life can be crazy at times but you always find your way to sort through things :)
thank you for the reply. You pretty much are spot on with my vision. I am hoping to get enough time to polish it up more and add the rest of my images so that it matches the way I imagine it turning out in my head.
